Your buyer runs SAP Ariba and wants a punchout catalogue instead of static files. We connect your store to the Ariba Network with cXML punchout — setup request, live shopping, PunchOut Order Message and purchase-order automation — and test it against their real Ariba realm before go-live.
Tell us your platform and we'll scope it. No obligation.
Ariba punchout replaces the static catalogue file with a live connection to your store. Instead of browsing a flat list of your products inside SAP Ariba, your buyer clicks your name and lands on your actual website — already signed in, seeing their contract pricing and your real-time stock. They shop exactly as any customer would, but at checkout nothing is paid for: the basket travels back into Ariba and becomes a requisition in their normal approval workflow.
Under the hood it is a cXML conversation between Ariba and your store — a PunchOutSetupRequest opens the session, a PunchOutOrderMessage returns the basket, and an OrderRequest delivers the approved purchase order. We capture that PO and create the order in your store automatically, then send order confirmations and cXML invoices back through the Ariba Network to close the loop. No CIF files to maintain, no stale prices, no orders rekeyed by hand.
In Guided Buying or classic Buying, the buyer clicks your punchout catalogue. Ariba posts a cXML PunchOutSetupRequest with their credentials; your store authenticates it and opens a shopping session.
The buyer lands on your site inside Ariba — often in an iframe — already signed in and mapped to their account, browsing live stock and their contract pricing.
At checkout the basket returns to Ariba as a cXML PunchOutOrderMessage — part numbers, UNSPSC codes and pricing intact — and enters the buyer’s approval flow.
Ariba sends the purchase order to your store as a cXML OrderRequest. We create the order automatically and can return ConfirmationRequest and InvoiceDetailRequest documents through the Ariba Network.
Ariba punchout has quirks that generic punchout builds miss. These are the ones that decide whether your integration passes the buyer’s enablement checklist first time.
Many Ariba buyers open punchout sites inside an iframe. Sessions, cookies and checkout redirects all behave differently cross-domain — we make your store work correctly framed, not just full-window.
Store-level (Level 1) or item-level (Level 2) punchout, where a specific catalogue line in Ariba deep-links straight to the matching product page on your store.
We work through your buyer’s enablement process — trading relationship requests, test realm validation, credential exchange — and test end-to-end against their live Ariba instance, not just a sandbox.
One integration serves every Ariba customer you win. Each buyer gets their own credentials, catalogue view and contract pricing — no per-client rebuild or per-connection fees.
Ready-made where it exists, built from scratch where it doesn't — one integration that serves every SAP Ariba buyer you win.
Production-ready punchout module — connects to SAP Ariba out of the box.
