The Challenge

HC Slingsby supplies large organisations, and each of them buys through its own procurement system: Coupa, SAP Ariba, Basware or a university marketplace. Every buyer expects its own contract pricing and catalogue, all from the same store.

Several Ariba buyers also reached the store under the same generic sender identity, which a standard integration cannot tell apart.

02

What We Built

We connected Slingsby's Magento store to five procurement networks with the Takeoff PunchOut Suite. Each buyer has its own customer group, credentials, extrinsics and unit-of-measure mapping, all configured in the admin.

Buyers who share an Ariba identity are separated in our PunchOut API, so each one lands on its own pricing.

Buyers shop the live catalogue inside their procurement system, return the basket for approval, and the purchase order arrives in Magento as an order.

The Results

5procurement networks served from a single Magento store
313buyer users across five procurement networks
~50baskets a month returned to buyers' procurement systems for approval
Per buyercontract pricing, including buyers who share an Ariba identity

One store, one catalogue and one price source now serve every Slingsby buyer, whichever procurement system they use. New buyers are added by configuration, including on networks that are already connected.
