L&S Engineers trades with a national equipment rental company through Coupa, with every order arriving in Magento automatically.

The Challenge
A national equipment rental company buys from L&S Engineers through Coupa. Coupa sends the delivery charge as a separate basket line with no part number. A standard integration either rejects the order or creates an unknown product in Magento, and every order has to be fixed by hand.
The buyer also validates every incoming line, so baskets must arrive in exactly the format Coupa expects.

What We Built
We connected L&S's Magento store to Coupa with the Takeoff PunchOut Suite. Our parser recognises Coupa's delivery line, takes it out of the items and maps it to the correct Magento shipping method.
On the way back, every basket line carries a standard unit of measure and an UNSPSC classification, so Coupa accepts it first time.
Buyers see L&S's contract pricing inside Coupa.

The Results
Purchase orders from Coupa now become Magento orders on their own, with the right shipping method and nothing to re-key. The sales team works from complete, structured orders instead of correcting them by hand.
